The position

The Carus Reservation system is market-leading and used by ferry companies all over the world. We’re looking for an experienced software developer to join our API development team in the Mariehamn, Finland office.

Work will consist of design and implementation of APIs for our travel business e-commerce platform with clients around the world. Development will be done in Java and Spring Boot. In addition to Java, knowledge of SQL and database development is required. It is beneficial if you also are familiar with the following:

• Git

• REST

• Open API Specification and tooling

• MongoDB

• Oracle databases

 The qualifications we are looking for are:

• A degree in computer science or related field, or comparable experience

• You need to be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing since this is our company language. It is a plus if you also speak Swedish.

You will be working at the head office in Mariehamn.
